Dear Friends of the Symphony:
Here we are at a milestone in the history of our orchestra - 60 consecutive years of providing admission free concerts to Santa Monica and the Westside, an accomplishment that is unsurpassed.
The last years have been difficult ones from a financial standpoint, along with other non-profits, in our quest for funding to keep presenting our programs. The pressures on the State, County and City governments have resulted in less and less grant money available. We sincerely appreciate your support in our endeavors.
The good news is that our audiences continue to grow as the word increasingly gets out about us. And the reception to the music is better than ever. We welcome you back to this extraordinary 2004-2005 season.
