This concert will be performed without an intermission.

Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a concert featuring the Piano Concerto of African American composer Florence Price, Dvořák’s beloved New World Symphony and the traditional sing-along of the civil rights anthem “We Shall Overcome”.

All Santa Monica Symphony concerts are FREE, but pre-registration is required as seating is limited.

*UPDATED COVID Policy: All concert goers must show proof of full vaccination (patrons over 18 years old will also be required to show proof of ID) except for children under 5 years of age who must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test (a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time). All attendees must wear a mask covering their nose, mouth, and chin for the entire time they are on the John Adam Middle School campus.

Parking Details: Ample street parking is available on Pearl Street, 17th Street, and 16th Street, as well as surrounding residential streets.

Celebre la vida y el legado del Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. con un concierto que presenta el  Concierto para piano de la compositora afroamericana Florence Price, la amada de Dvořák  Sinfonía del Nuevo Mundo y el canto tradicional del himno de los derechos civiles “We Shall Overcome”.

Todos los conciertos de la Sinfónica de Santa Mónica son GRATUITOS, pero se requiere inscripción previa ya que el aforo es limitado.
