Ellen Shinogle is an international award-winning trumpet player and educator who has become distinguished in her field as a dynamic performer of exceptional artistry. This led her to winning the Performer’s Certificate of Distinction from the Eastman School of Music. In 2019, Ellen was awarded first place in the graduate division of the National Trumpet Competition. She is the recipient of the Stanley Wilson Memorial and the Mimi Alpert Feldman Awards. Ellen is also a three-time winner of the Gluck Fellowship Award.
Ms. Shinogle’s passion for music of all genres can be heard in a multitude of venues. As principal trumpet, she has performed in operas, orchestras, and musical theater productions internationally and domestically. Ellen can frequently be heard performing in multiple productions at the Disneyland Resort, SeaWorld, Santa Monica Symphony, films, and in television shows, such as Jimmy Kimmel Live!
