Today, sponsorship helps us keep concerts free, support our musicians, expand community programs, welcome new audiences, and ensure that the Symphony remains a vibrant cultural resource for generations to come. Partner with the Santa Monica Symphony to keep the tradition of live orchestral music alive by supporting the musicians at the heart of the orchestra.
Each of our musicians is a dedicated artist whose skill, passion, and commitment make every performance possible. Through an honorary Chair Sponsorship, you can create a personal connection with the orchestra by supporting a specific musician, section, or artistic leadership position.
Whether you have a special love for the violin, cello, flute, trumpet, percussion, or another part of the orchestra, sponsoring a chair brings you closer to the music you love. As you listen from the audience, you will know that your generosity is helping make that artistry possible.

Chair Sponsor Benefits
Chair Sponsors receive special recognition and opportunities to connect with the orchestra throughout the season.
Benefits include:
- Recognition next to your sponsored musician in concert materials and on the SMS website
- First opportunity to renew your chair sponsorship in future seasons
- Opportunities to join the orchestra at pre-concert musician dinners during the season

Chair sponsorships may be made by individuals, families, businesses, or in honor or memory of someone special.
Chair Sponsorship Levels
Music Director Sponsor — $25,000
Support the artistic vision and leadership of the Santa Monica Symphony’s Music Director, Pola Benke.
Concertmaster Sponsor — $12,500
Support the artistic leadership of the orchestra’s distinguished concertmaster, Ji Young An, who leads the string section and serves as a vital link between conductor and orchestra.
Principal Player Sponsor — $3,500
Sponsor a principal musician who leads an instrumental section of the orchestra.
Section Musician Sponsor — $1,500
Sponsor one of the dedicated musicians who bring the orchestra’s sound to life.

Concert Sponsor
Concert sponsors help make free public performances possible for thousands of audience members each year. Sponsorship may include recognition from the stage, logo or name placement in concert materials, website recognition, and invitations to special donor or sponsor experiences.
Season Sponsor
Season sponsors provide leadership support across the full artistic season, helping sustain free concerts, artistic excellence, community engagement, and audience growth.
